The birthplace of the modern collector car show, and some of the largest, most popular auto exhibitions in the world are just minutes from our Harrisburg hotel. If you're looking for things to do in Carlisle and Central Pennsylvania that you won't find anywhere else, plan your visit during one of the 10 annual shows hosted by Carlisle Events. The most frequented is the Spring Collector Car Swap Meet, full of gorgeously restored historic cars and over 100,000 enthusiasts from around the world.

  • What is Carlisle Events?

    Based out of the city's Fairgrounds, Carlisle Events is a local company dedicated to organizing and hosting car shows for collectors of all persuasions. Dating back more than 40 years, the family business now owns the fairgrounds, specially tailored to nearly a dozen annual events for auto enthusiasts. 

  • How do you display your hot ride at Carlisle Events?

    You'll need a credit card to register your car online if you want to show it off at an event, April through October. In the winter, Carlisle Events continue at Zephyrhill's Festival Park in Florida. Registration includes event entry for 2 adults, while kids 12 and under are always FREE.
